What's the difference between podiatry and chiropody?

There is no real difference between podiatry and chiropody. Podiatry is seen as the modern day name for chiropody and was changed in the UK to podiatry in 1993, and is the internationally recognized name for a foot specialist.

Both titles are registered and protected with the HCPC.
